Archer Bot – Official Privacy Policy & Data Processing Specification
Effective Date: October 5, 2026
Application Name: Archer Bot (“Archer”, “Bot”, “we”, “us”, or “our”)
Governing Entity: Furcord Group (“Furcord”)
Corporate Mailing Address: P.O. Box 6174, Lubbock, TX 79493
Privacy & Security Contact: support@furcord.org
This Privacy Policy establishes the exclusive operational rules, technical data ingestion pipelines, retention limits, and disposal mechanisms governing Archer Bot, an official first-party moderation, anti-raid, and security automation utility developed and maintained by Furcord Group.
Archer operates in strict accordance with the Furcord Master Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and Developer & Bot Platform Policy.
1. Scope & Core Purpose
Archer is engineered strictly to preserve community safety, enforce guild rules, mitigate spam/raids, automate moderation actions (kicks, bans, mutes, warnings), and maintain operational audit trails for server administrators. Archer does not engage in user profiling, behavioral ad tracking, data monetization, or machine learning model training.
2. Categories of Data Ingested & Processed
To execute automated moderation heuristics and maintain administrative records, Archer processes the following data:
| Data Class | Technical Ingestion Type | Functional Necessity |
|---|---|---|
| User Identifiers | Platform User IDs, Account Handles, Discriminators, Account Creation Timestamps | Evaluating account age for anti-raid barriers, tracking infraction histories, verifying 13+ platform thresholds. |
| Server/Guild Context | Server IDs, Channel IDs, Role IDs, Permission Overwrites | Routing automated mod logs, applying role-based mutes/quarantines, enforcing localized server configurations. |
| Ephemerally Screened Message Content | Real-time Gateway Message Content (MESSAGE_CONTENT Intent) | Scanning live text for banned regex patterns, phishing links, malicious tokens, mass-mentions, and invite links. |
| Infraction Records & Audit Metadata | Moderator User IDs, Reason Strings, Timestamps, Action Types (Warn/Mute/Kick/Ban) | Generating audit logs for server staff and tracking cumulative penalties per user per server. |
| Technical Telemetry | API Latency, Shard Connection States, Rate-Limit Headers | Maintaining platform stability, handling back-off cycles, and preventing gateway socket drops. |
3. Message Content Handling: Ephemeral Processing Architecture
In compliance with Section 4 of the Furcord Developer & Bot Policy:
- No Persistent Chat Archiving: Archer does not maintain a database of general conversational message history.
- Volatile In-Memory Analysis: Inbound text payloads received over the Furcord Gateway socket are processed in volatile memory (RAM) solely to evaluate automated filters (anti-phishing, invite link detection, toxicity/profanity heuristics, and spam thresholds).
- Immediate Disposal: Once evaluated, messages that do not trigger an infraction rule are purged from memory immediately. They are never written to non-volatile storage, logs, or external analytical endpoints.
- Infraction Evidence Caching: If a message directly violates a server rule or security heuristic, Archer extracts and stores only the offending snippet, timestamp, author ID, and channel ID in the moderation database to populate the server's mod-log and support administrative appeals.
4. Legal Bases & Processing Framework
Archer processes data strictly under the following legal frameworks:
- Contractual Performance & Legitimate Platform Security: Operating security filters, enforcing community safety, preventing raid events, and fulfilling the automated moderation commands requested by server administrators.
- Platform & Legal Compliance: Upholding Furcord Group’s zero-tolerance mandates concerning Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM/CSAE), targeted harassment, cyberattacks, and the 13+ minimum age requirement.
- Data Minimization: Collecting only the minimal technical data points required to carry out assigned moderation tasks.
5. Prohibited Practices & Developer Term Compliance
Archer strictly complies with all privacy restrictions set forth in the Furcord Developer & Bot Policy:
- Zero Commercialization / Data Sales: Archer will never sell, rent, license, or trade user IDs, infraction logs, or server metadata to data brokers, ad networks, or external commercial entities.
- AI Model Training Ban: Infraction data, user messages, and metadata handled by Archer are strictly excluded from training proprietary, public, or third-party Large Language Models (LLMs) or generative artificial intelligence systems.
- No Covert User Tracking: Archer does not track cross-server user behaviors to establish global reputational scores or shadow-profiles without express server configuration.
- No Credential Harvesting: Archer never solicits, captures, or logs passwords, session tokens, or private payment information.
6. Data Storage, Retention, & Automated Deletion Cycles
In accordance with mandatory retention limits:
| Data | Handling | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Live Chat Stream | Processed in RAM only | Purged immediately |
| Anti-Raid Cache | User join/message rates | Expires in 15 minutes |
| Audit Mod Logs | Stored for active servers | Retained for server lifetime |
| Bot Ejection / Kick | Server-specific data store | Wiped within 30 days |
| Account Deletion | User anonymization target | Expunged within 30 days |
- Anti-Raid Telemetry: Transient join timestamps and message frequency counters are held in-memory for a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes to detect raid waves, after which they are dropped.
- Active Server Infraction Logs: Moderation case files (warnings, bans, kicks) are retained for the operational lifetime of the server to allow server staff to manage community discipline.
- Bot Removal / Ejection Rule (30-Day Hard Purge): If Archer is removed, kicked, or banned from a server, all server configurations, custom moderation rules, and localized case logs stored by Archer are automatically queued for deletion and permanently expunged within thirty (30) calendar days.
- Global Account Purge: If a user deletes their master Furcord account, Archer’s automated cleanup jobs dissociate or delete all associated user-specific records within thirty (30) days of receipt of the platform deletion signal.
7. Third-Party Disclosures & Security Disclosures
Archer data is processed in secure, isolated environments managed directly by Furcord Group. Disclosures are limited strictly to:
- Server Administrators: Guild owners and authorized moderators have access to their server's own moderation records, audit logs, and infraction histories generated by Archer.
- Law Enforcement & Legal Exigencies: Records may be disclosed if required by valid legal process (subpoenas, court orders), or under 18 U.S.C. § 2702(c) to law enforcement if there is an imminent threat of death or serious physical harm.
- Child Exploitation Reports: Any child sexual abuse material or predatory behavior detected by Archer is escalated to Furcord Trust & Safety for mandatory reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
8. User Rights, Data Export, & Deletion Requests
Users and Server Administrators possess distinct rights regarding data managed by Archer:
- Viewing Infractions: Users may query Archer via slash commands (e.g., /infractions or /mydata, subject to server settings) to view logged warnings or administrative actions on record.
- Right to Erasure / Deletion Requests: Server owners may reset and wipe all guild moderation logs directly via the configuration panel or by removing the Bot from their server. Individual users wishing to request the manual expungement of their historical moderation profile may submit a verified ticket to support@furcord.org or mail our designated agent: Furcord Group, ATTN: Archer Privacy Agent, P.O. Box 6174, Lubbock, TX 79493.
9. Modifications to this Policy
Furcord Group reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy to reflect technical updates, architectural changes, or new regulatory standards. Material updates will be documented with a revised “Effective Date” at the top of this document. Continued presence of Archer in your server constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
